Life is a weaving and a wandering in and out of places and paths both known and unfamiliar. As soon as the path is worn, a new change or challenge often emerges. I am often skeptical of those on a path without some element of questioning, struggle or doubt. Or, of those who say there is only one path alone. As a practitioner with over 12 years of direct practice experience with both groups and individuals, I work collaboratively with clients to find an approach that works for them. I approach this work with great humility, curiosity, and care. At the heart of my work is a deep trust and respect for each individual's path, their own inner knowing, wisdom and capacity for healing and desired change. I integrate evidence based practices with contemplative awareness and somatic approaches to support clients in exploring the parts of themselves that are showing up with curiosity, love and care.

I am a deep listener and I orient towards helping others bring their experiences into honest, lived contact- supporting alignment between what's felt, expressed, and understood- while staying attuned to a person's capacity and pace.I see therapy as an opportunity for personal and collective healing, supporting clients in clarifying, asking for and reaching towards their own dreams and aspirations. My background and training in Restorative practices, yoga and relationship with the natural world informs this approach within a foundation of relationality, mutuality, and embodiment.

I hold a masters degree in social work and I have training and expertise in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Somatic Therapies. I am currently training in Internal Family Systems.I work with a variety of human experiences and challenges including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma related challenges, grief and loss, supporting people in navigating life transitions and LGBTQ specific concerns.

“Even a wounded world is feeding us. Even a wounded world holds us, giving us moments of wonder and joy. I choose joy over despair. Not because I have my head in the sand, but because joy is what the earth gives me daily and I must return the gift.”
